Multiplayer Battle Arena (MBA) is a multiplayer, mixed reality, competitive experience. MBA combines current area theming methods with boundary pushing AR technology to create a one of a kind Location Based Experience. Magic has returned to the world and Battle Arenas have been created for competitors to test their magical skills. Players first select Armor Sets, each having unique designs and abilities. Then, they dawn Augmentation Suits, before entering the Battle Arena in teams of five, known as Guilds. While in Battle, Guilds aim to destroy their rival’s Container while defending their own. To do this they must fight through defensive towers, wooden Imps and their opponent’s defenses. Additionally, players will have the option to complete quests or fight monsters for rewards both in and out of the battle. Outside of the Battle Arena, Practice Areas offer a fully AR experience. Practice Areas offer a more flexible experience than the Battle Arena. They can accommodate 1 – 5 players per Area and offer multiple experiences. In Practice Areas, players can play mini games, have duals or practice specific skills to use in the Arena. These activities can be done both cooperatively and competitively. Connecting all of this, the Lobby is designed to foster community and connection. Giving players food, drink and plentiful group seating to enjoy while getting to know new friends and spend time with old ones. Are you ready to enter the Battle Arena? Victory in the Battle Arena requires skill, strategy, and teamwork. Gather your Guild and start studying the ways of magic. Develop your strategies while expecting the unexpected from your opponents. If you think you’re ready, select your Armor Set, put on your Augmentation Suit and enter the Battle Arena.
