An indoor family entertainment center with three main attractions and other activities. It tells the story of a group of people that were travelling west in mid-19th century. One night, a huge storm fell upon them, for they sought refuge in a cavern. With a false sense of security, they ventured deep within the cavern. The next morning, a kid was trying to light a torch to see their way back to the surface, but a dynamite stick was struck instead, caving the group in with the explosion. Fortunately, the group was resourceful and was able to thrive for almost 200 years! They found ponds with unique bioluminescent fish (food!) and started sustainable farming. They also figured that some hollow rock structures allowed for some crop growth. One of the community members was a French engineer who helped harness the geothermal power of the cavern to transform their carriages into modern marvels. The community had been resilient, finding ways to cope with the close quarters. Some disappeared because they went exploring deeper caves. Some made games out of fish farming. People were restless and found relief in helping set up a “sky-high” wheel circuit, where they would ride a bicycle on a rope, going to the community’s favorite rock formations and prehistoric paintings. A couple people think they have heard a couple of bats talking? Maybe they do need to get out soon… Well, in August of 2024, billionaire Carl S. Menzo bought the land where the cavern is in, opening a way out! Or in? Carl saw the wonders the community built in the two centuries they have been down there, if only there was a way to make money out of it. And here we are! Visit wonderful Carl’s Good Caverns! (no relation to the bad ones)
